Saskatoon Police are investigating an assault which occurred between two motorists on Warman Road.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 Police received a report from a passing driver that an assault was occurring between motorists on Warman near Assiniboine Drive. One of those involved later reported the incident to Police. The 18-year-old man reported that he and another male, age 34, had been driving on Circle Drive northbound, near 8th Street when the driver of a Chevy Cavalier began pursuing their vehicle and gesturing in an aggressive manner. The 18-year-old motorist exited at Warman Road and was stopped at a red light when one of the men in the pursuing car approached his window. When the 18-year-old rolled the window down, he was punched repeatedly in the face. The other occupants of both vehicles exited and became involved in the assault until both parties returned to their vehicles and fled the scene. The 18-year-old went to hospital where he was treated for serious but non life-threatening facial injuries.
The suspects are described as Caucasian males. The first male is approximately 30-35 years of age, 5’7″ in height, 200 lbs, with brown hair, facial hair and glasses. He may have suffered a facial injury during the altercation. The second male is thought to be in his 30’s, approximately 5’9″ in height, with a black jacket and a blue shirt.
Their vehicle is described as a 90’s model, white Chevy Cavalier with a black spoiler on the back and scoops on the hood and roof of the car.

Motorists are urged to drive within the speed limit, allow space between themselves and the vehicles traveling in front of them, and drive with courtesy for other motorists.
